Celebrating contemporary Indigenous cinema across Oklahoma and Indian Territory, and building lasting support for the next generation of Indigenous storytellers.
Next screening: February 27, 2027 · Circle Cinema, Tulsa
Next Screening Our StoryThe Indian Territory Film Festival began as an effort to bring alternative Indigenous programming to Tulsa. Today our vision is growing across Oklahoma and Indian Territory. Our short film programs are carrying Native filmmakers’ work to new audiences and new venues, pairing screenings with conversation and opening doors to careers in the film industry. We are deeply grateful to the audiences, partners and sponsors who are helping that vision expand.
The festival is now an official program of the Indian Territory Film Foundation, a new organization built to give Indigenous filmmakers sustained support from within their own community.
The Foundation is pursuing federal nonprofit status, which will allow it to grant funds directly to Indigenous filmmakers.
We are deeply grateful to the sponsors and partners who make our programming possible and who are helping our vision grow across Oklahoma and Indian Territory.
